Hello and thanks for looking at my podcast page!
Knitty Nora picks a different topic each time and goes through some of the techniques she's used or has learned, reviews books on the topic and anything else that might interest you.
Anyway, the best way to find out of her podcasts are for you is to listen to them -- give one a try!
If you would like to see some of the things I've knitted, click on the little photos or the link to my Etsy shop below.
If you like my theme tune, it's from a song called "Knitting" by Arthur Askey, a famous comedian from the 1930s and 40s. You can find this and others of his songs in iTunes or on many of his CDs, which are widely available.

Thank you for your wonderful podcast. Looking forward to hearing you again soon.
Nice podcasts. I really enjoyed your discourse on socks the podcast before. Happy days, Gale
Another Knitty Nora saying Hi!
I've been known as Knitty Nora in London for over 20 years, and wanted to say your podcast is great - just tuned in for the first time, and looking forward to your next one.
By the way, if you've read The Friday Night Knitting Club, perhaps you should try Wish Upon A Star by Olivia Goldsmith.
Knitting Daily newsletter also suggested marking every ten rows on your socks. Then you will make perfectly matching socks. What I do is move the markers from the completed sock to the second sock as I knit. I no longer end up with one sock bigger than the other.
Great podcast, please keep them coming.

Hi Nora. I just found your podcast. I am listening in Rochester, NY USA. I am enjoying listening. I love the topic - finishing. My Mum loves doing that - I'd rather just knit. Looking forward to the next podcast!
Enjoying your podcasts, Nora :) I have mentioned them on Ravelry, in the North East Yarn Fiends forum, so I hope you'll get more listeners!
I'm sooooo glad I found your podcast today!
I love knitting, I love podcasts, but I'm not too fond of American English ;-)
You've just inspired me to start knitting my first pair of toe up-socks so I really haven't got time to comment.
On Ravelry I'm Lillefod, and I also blog in Danish: http://lisarisager.dk/?cat=21
Looking forward to your next episode!
Thank you everyone for all your lovely support!
Nora, Just wanted to let you know how much I enjoyed your last podcast about Stashaholics. Loved hearing from the others in your knitting group, please include more of this in the future. One of your friends brought up a point that had never occured to me before....for some people it is about the yarn and fiber itself, not necessarily about the knitting. This really made me think about how much I enjoy being in my yarn room, vs just sitting and knitting. Thanks for doing the podcast, looking forward to the next one. Lisa
Hi Nora!
I wanted to tell you how much I enjoy listening to your podcasts! My first impression was that you are a podcast veteran with tens of podcasts, you must be a natural! The bit about stashaholics anonymous was spectacular! Keep them coming!!
I've followed a link from the Let's Knit! forum and really enjoyed your podcasts. I must track down a finishing class, as I'm hopeless at sewing. Keep them coming!
ps thank you so much for using Arthur Askey's music, how lovely! See you on Ravelry!
