Knitty Nora's knitting natter
Knitty Nora has been having problems with her computer which have prevented her posting a message until now. The next podcast may take a while, as she has just given birth to twins! When she is not dealing with them, she is a keen knitter from the North East of England. Her podcast has been featured in Let's Knit magazine and has attracted listeners from the UK, the States, South Africa, Italy and Canada (that she knows of). Thank you everyone! Listen in to hear her knitting experiences and to find other links, hints and tips.

Eco shopping bag
We are using the pattern from the book but it's here on this blog, if you'd rather not use an old sheet. To use a sheet, cut it into a continuous strip of fabric about 1.5cm (approx half and inch) wide.

Hello and thanks for looking at my podcast page!
Knitty Nora has been having problems with her computer which have prevented her posting a message until now. The next podcast may take a while, as she has just given birth to twins! When she is not dealing with them, she hopes to pick a different topic each time and go through some of the techniques I've used or have learned, review books I've found on the topic and anything else that I think might interest you.
Anyway, the best way to find out of my podcasts are for you is to listen to them -- give one a try!
If you would like to see some of the things I've knitted, click on the little photos or the link to my Etsy shop below.
If you like my theme tune, it's from a song called "Knitting" by Arthur Askey, a famous comedian from the 1930s and 40s. You can find this and others of his songs in iTunes or on many of his CDs, which are widely available.

Please send the aliens across the pond to take up residence at my place!! Loved attending the knitting group with you and will have to knit along once the bag pattern is up.
I agree-loved listening to the Knitting Group Ladies! Also hope to join in the KAL once the pattern is up. After episode 4 I wished there was a local group like yours here...so this is the next best thing.
Thanks! Kimberli
Thank you! I'll send the aliens over and will get the patten up as soon as I get the link.
Oh dear! I've just donated all my old sheets to our local veterinarian! Poo! In the continued interest of recycling, I may have to visit a thrift store for bag knitting (crocheting?) material - obviously I love the sheet idea! Can't wait for the pattern! Thanks for the fun Nora!
Have sheets, waiting for pattern!
Thanks so much for another lovely podcast!
Perhaps the aliens would consider going on tour??
:D
Hi Nora!
I really enjoy your podcasts and I am looking forward to the next one.
For some reason I can't click "other" under "choose an identity" when trying to leave you a comment. I hope I haven't just posted 20 of the same comments as I kept typing in the code and hitting enter. LOL
