Knitty Nora's knitting natter
Knitty Nora has been having problems with her computer which have prevented her posting a message until now. The next podcast may take a while, as she has just given birth to twins! When she is not dealing with them, she is a keen knitter from the North East of England. Her podcast has been featured in Let's Knit magazine and has attracted listeners from the UK, the States, South Africa, Italy and Canada (that she knows of). Thank you everyone! Listen in to hear her knitting experiences and to find other links, hints and tips.

Hello and thanks for looking at my podcast page!
Knitty Nora has been having problems with her computer which have prevented her posting a message until now. The next podcast may take a while, as she has just given birth to twins! When she is not dealing with them, she hopes to pick a different topic each time and go through some of the techniques I've used or have learned, review books I've found on the topic and anything else that I think might interest you.
Anyway, the best way to find out of my podcasts are for you is to listen to them -- give one a try!
If you would like to see some of the things I've knitted, click on the little photos or the link to my Etsy shop below.
If you like my theme tune, it's from a song called "Knitting" by Arthur Askey, a famous comedian from the 1930s and 40s. You can find this and others of his songs in iTunes or on many of his CDs, which are widely available.

Dear Nora,
I so truly enjoy your podcast!! Thank you for all the trouble it takes you to do it and thank you so much to your knitting group for joining in the fun!!
Inspired by you and your group, I am going to attempt a bag with cloth that I ripped and readied to make a rag rug, but never finished.
I also ordered (online) some of the suggested yarn, in case my "rags" don't work! But, I have been so inspired to join in!!!
PS:(I hate to admit it but I also purchased, and received, an Arthur Askey CD - my husband thinks I've lost it!!!)
Great show!!! everyone else give me your ear for a second.
Thank you for your lovely comments, they make it all worth while!
Ooooh
I can see my lovely sock yarn in that photograph!!
Great show! I think I would be like you and find that I crochet too tight.
Hi Nora
Just wanted to say I only found your Podcast a few days ago but I love it already. I am just catching up with your older episodes now. I especially love your episode about socks (sp. 2). Please keep up the great work.
Hi there,
Love the latest episode and have already started re-listening to your earlier ones. I love hearing your accent (being from the UK originally myself) and am particularly enjoying the segments where you take the "roving mic" to your knitting group.
I have bought the Arthur Askey knitting song from iTunes - had only previously heard his "bee" one - so thanks for that too :)
Looking forward to the next episode very much.
Kate
Please, please, please Nora, may we have some more? Hands down the best podcast I have ever heard! Only problem is I laugh so hard it's sometimes impossible to knit and listen at the same time! Cheers to you Nora, keep it up and a hearty thanks to your knitting group for being so wonderful and witty!

Sorry for the break in transmission, I will be back soon!
I really like your show - nice to have another UK podcast!
Remind us Nora of whence came the pattern your group is using? Would love to see it...
